I had posted a review awhile ago that was not as great as this one. I have a high expectation when it comes to customer service. In the past several months this store has exceeded any expectations I could possibly have had. Will was the greatest addition this store could’ve sought and if it wasn’t for his supreme customer service skills I probably would not be shopping here any longer. I recently found out he was apart of management. I’ve never seen a manager work as hard as he does. Most managers don’t like to do the hard work such as loading hundreds of pounds of grain into a customers vehicle. Managers generally just as an employee under them to do it. Will never hesitates to help. I can’t rave enough about him. This does not take away from the other great employees I’ve come to know such as sandy and Karen. It’s always a pleasure to go into this store and see these friendly peoples faces. Please don’t let these three workers go anywhere!! If anything promote them and do whatever it takes to keep them happy so they stay. Unfortunately I’ve seen a high turn over rate at this store and I’m hoping that stops and we can keep at least these three people. I’ve spoken to many of the employees in the recent months and for the first time I’ve heard they actually like working there. This is new to hear and I hope to see it stay the same. Purchasing from a company that has happy employees who interact with their customers makes it much easier to spend a small fortune weekly on our livestock.

Went to buy a 6 Pound bag of meow mix dry cat food. All other stores selling at 7.50$ to 9.50.$ They were charging me 15$. Obviously a bar code issue, but cashier tried to tell me that was the correct price. I came home highest price was Chewy.com at 9.59$. dry cat food is not what has increased so much, Wet food is. Oh and the bag was torn open and Taped up put right on shelf. This is new for TS, they have always run Well. Not sure what's happening over there.

I have been shopping at this location for years. After today’s visit I will be bringing my business else where. Team leader was extremely rude and arrogant with me, even knowing I’m there several times a week for livestock product and knowing me by first name. I had placed an online order where one of the products we listed as in stock while ordering yet wasn’t actually in stock. While asking questions her responses were non helpful, rude, sarcastic, and uninformed. Apparently my business is not valued at this store I was also trying to use a coupon for stuff I picked up in store while there to get my online order. The coupon kept coming up as already used even though it wasn’t. Team leader was called over to help and even in this situation she could’ve cared less to be bothered. Told me to call customer service. Didn’t say sorry for the inconvenience. I hardly ever post negative reviews but leaving there I was extremely upset especially given I spend upwards of $200 there weekly and then often more. I will not be visiting this location again and am actually contemplating taking all my business elsewhere as a livestock owner. With the amount feed prices have gone up it won’t cost me anymore to go to Thompson’s Agway or Pleasant View Farms for feed and at least those places seem to value you as a customer no matter how small the order is. In addition to all of this I have noticed that most or the shelves are bare and this store is consistently out of product week after week even when the delivery comes in. I even know the days the trucks arrive with their deliveries. In the past year this location has gone completely downhill with a huge turn over of employees, it seems almost monthly. If I have to do business with tractor supply it will be at the Stafford or Enfield locations. I don’t care that this location is only five minutes away from me. I will only shop where I feel valued we w customer and where management has respect for their customers and won’t make it like it’s a burden to help them.

I visited the Vernon Ct store Saturday afternoon 8/29. Samantha and other employees really worked hard to make sure I walked out with the parts I needed. They are the most friendly and motivated staff I've encountered in retail in a while. I'm only mad they insisted I buy this bag of chocolate wafers! I ate most of the delicious treats before I got home! Thanks for the great service.

I wish I could give more that 5 stars, because our experience today was excellent! Myself and 2 of my kids came into the store for a pair of work gloves and safety glasses. Nancy, the woman up at the front, is an incredible asset to your company. She is a one woman show up there, making sure everything was taken care of. She took the time out of her shelf stocking to help us find what we were looking for, interacted with both kids and even supplied our son with bubble wrap to pop around the store. He smiled from ear to ear and she was just as happy to do so. She will bring this branch of your company incredible success and return customers for sure, they will (as will I) be back to see Nancy. Thank you for an awesome experience!
